Five weeks and counting...

Wow. College life can become so hectic it's hectic just to think about. I just finished midterms week at my uni. It was pretty much worse than any finals week I've ever had. Five tests and three papers all pretty much at once.

But it is now over and done with and I'm sitting at home listening to my Les Mis soundtrack. My family's taking me out to Japanese food tonight. Num!

But the respite is only very brief. 5 weeks from today I take the MCAT (medical college admissions test) to go to medical school. So, excepting today, my week is going to be spent mainly studying for that. Joy. But I want to make myself so sick of it that I'll know after I take the test that I'll never need to take it again. The material isn't difficult, per se, but there's just so much of it. The test condenses a year of physics, one of general chemistry, one of organic chemistry, and a whole bunch of bio into two 1.5 hour sections. So the material doesn't get too in depth, but there's still a lot of it to remember.

But it's nice being home. Hopefully I'll be able to see a lot of my hometown homies (yeah, I know, I'm such a white girl, heheheh) before heading back down to SD's beautiful weather and ocean. And of course, the mountain of classes I'm taking. But my marine botany class is now over (it only runs for a half a semester, thank goodness. That class could not have been over sooner), which frees up about a 9 hour block in my week. Lovely. :)
